There was once a wealthy merchant. He and his wife were misers. Whenever a guest visited their house they thought of it as trouble. Once two guests paid them a visit. They thought of a trick to drive the guests away. The merchant went inside and said to his wife, " Listen when I scream at you, you also scream back at me and when I run out of the house, you also come out chasing me with a stick. The guests will think that a fight is going on in the house and they will go away." The wife agreed and said, "Fine. I will do as you say.
